Frequently asked questions
+ How can I enrol in a workshop?
Simply send us an email! We take all our bookings via email, this allows us to let you know any extra information and answer questions you might have.
+ Where are the workshops held?
All our workshops + courses are held in our Canberra studio/workshop (currently located in Mitchell ACT 2911). It's a fully equipped silversmithing studio with the tools you will need for your workshop. Once you've enrolled we will send you an info pack with all the details for your workshop, studio address and other useful info!
+ What is your cancellation policy?
You can read our refund + cancellation policy in full here.
+ Do you have gift certificates?
Currently we aren't able to offer gift certificates. However, if you would like to enrol a friend in a class as a gift we are more than happy to facilitate this. Please note that we can only enrol them in a scheduled workshop that has current availability. We can chat with you to organise payment and then have all the workshop information sent to the recipient. Please get in touch for more information.
+ Can I visit the studio?
Yes of course! It's no problems to arrange a studio visit before enrolling. We're only open by appointment so send us an email and we can tee up a time that suits us both.
+ I missed out on a place in your workshop, will there be more?
Yes, you're in luck! We run workshops throughout the year. Our workshops are quite popular and sometimes they do book out very quickly, sometimes within a day. If you have any queries about the workshops we run, please get in touch anytime - that way you'll hopefully have all the answers you need prior to a workshop release and you can decide on the spot if you wish to enrol.
We send out all details of new workshop dates via our mailing list - you can sign up at the bottom of this page. Unfortunately we are not able to hold a waiting list for any of our workshops.
+ What do I need to bring with me to a workshop?
Once your enrolment and payment has been processed, you'll receive an information pack with all the details you need to know - including; studio location, facilities, what to bring to the first class and what to wear. Of course, if you have any more Q's - just send us an email!
+ What do I wear to the workshop?
All these details will be in your information pack, emailed to you when you enrol in a workshop. But here's a quick run down for you. Covered shoes are essential in all workshops, this is for your own safety. Wear clothes you don't mind getting a little grubby. We aren't the fashion police - we recommend comfort over style, we're all here to have a good time making! We also have aprons available to borrow during the workshops.
+ I want to enrol but will miss part of the workshop. Can I still enrol?
Unfortunately not, each of our workshops have been designed and planned with the designated time frame in mind. They each run on a structured schedule, its important every student is present for the whole duration of a workshop so you don't miss out on important steps and information for your project and you get the most out of the workshop! For more info on this, please get in touch.
